Hello readers in this post I’m going to explain you that how to install windows xp on your computer within less than 12 minutes !!! Normally whenever we install windows xp it takes much more time than a half an hour but by using this trick you can install windows xp within a very short time.
Many of the people think that installing windows xp faster may reduce the features of an OS which they are going to install but by using this trick we are not going to minimize the services or features provided by an OS, we are just going to increase the OS installation speed manually by using some simple steps.
( Here I’m conducting this tutorial inside VMWare player because I have already installed Win 7 as my guest OS. ) Ok Let’s start…
Step 1 :
Insert Win Xp bootable disk into pc and boot from the disk after formatting the drive the system files will be copied into pc as shown below :
Step 2 :
After restarting the windows, the windows installation starts then you have to open the command prompt during installation by pressing “Shift+F10” concurrently then type in command prompt “taskmgr” to run the task manager as shown below :
Step 3:
After running the task manager switch to the “Processes” tab and then find the process named “Setup.exe”.
Step 4:
Right click on process “Setup.exe”.
Step 5:
Click on “Set Priority” menu item.
Step 6:
Change the priority of the process to “High”. You are done !!!
Now close the task manager and command prompt and complete the installation step by step. You will notice that the installation of Windows XP have become fast enough than before !!!
